It's Not You. It's the Old OET Practice Tests.

Every paper we produce is built to the difficulty of the 2026 exam, not a version of the test that existed three years ago. We check our mocks against the real results our students report, so that a 350 on our material is meant to reflect a 350 on the real paper.

Practising on easier material is how candidates walk in confident and walk out with a C.

These are not practice papers. They are the benchmark we use to decide whether you are ready to book.

Since September 2025, 1,100 students have cleared the Clearance Mocks before booking and 837 of them have passed the OET. The rest have not sat yet or have not written back. That is why we hold them back for the higher tiers; they only mean something if you sit them cold.

An answer key tells you that you were wrong. It never tells you why the sentence you chose was the wrong sentence, which is the only thing that changes your next attempt.

Submit any Reading test or Clearance Mock and the whole paper opens up, question by question: the exact sentence the answer came from highlighted in the passage, the paraphrase you were meant to spot, every option analysed, and the phrase in the tempting one that breaks it.

Written by Dr Nasir for each test and each Clearance Mock, in plain English, so it reads the same at the end of a night shift as it does on a day off.

Reading Part A gives you fifteen minutes for twenty questions across four texts. Comprehension is not the problem, location speed is.

These are live drills, run daily, built purely to raise how fast you find the answer rather than how well you understand the passage. Speed is trainable. Most candidates have never trained it.

Reading Part C extracts are not written from nothing, they are adapted from a known set of professional and academic sources.

Every day we take an article from the same kinds of publications the exam’s Part C texts are adapted from, traced by us from past sittings, and work through it live. You get used to the register, the sentence length and the argument style before you ever meet them under timed conditions.

Listening Part C is presentation audio, a speaker with an opinion, an attitude and a structure you have to follow in one pass.

These are not summary notes. They are decision rules you apply live, mid-paper, what to do when two options both look right, when to abandon a question, how to handle a distractor you have seen before.

Every task is a checklist item that opens where it is done. Do them in any order inside a three-day block; finish the block by its last day. Module 2 opens when Module 1 is complete.
